『Michiko Minegishi』Bio

A Vinyasa flow instructor for over 13 years, Michiko is one of Japan's foremost yoga teachers, according to Yokohama Yoga Festival. She conducts regular workshops and seminars nationally and internationally and is devoted to enhancing her study of yoga theory and practice. Based at her popular "Body & Mind Yoga," studio, Michiko also engages in charity events--serving as the lead instructor for Japan's annual Yoga Aid Challenge. She is regularly featured in popular magazines and publications and writes her own column in Japan's Yoga Magazine.
Eager to create a space of love and kindness through her yoga practice and her studio, Michiko is also known for developing pioneering practices through her unique yoga style. For instance, she is known for supporting mentally & physically disabled persons through an original program she created called "Handycap Yoga" which is a new method of Yoga application as a step by step training/rehabilitation tool.
